What to Expect

What to Expect

Let’s Get Started! The following is the process you can expect to get your Estate Plan completed:

Step 1. Initial Consultation. During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your situation, your goals for your estate plan and the basics of the estate planning process. We will then identify and discuss the type of plan that may be best for you and the corresponding pricing. The first consultation is generally 30 minutes and free of charge.

Step 2. Document Preparation. Once all the necessary information is gathered from you, we will prepare a draft copy of your customized estate plan. These documents will be emailed to you for your review. We can also schedule a meeting to discuss the documents if needed.

Step 3. Finalization & Signing. After any and all concerns are addressed, the draft documents will be finalized and prepared for signature. You will then sign the documents and make your estate plan official. You will keep the original documents and our office will have copies on file.

Step 4. Funding the Trust. If your estate plan includes a trust, there could be additional preparation of documents to transfer the title of assets to the trust.
